Energy Meters Need Both Reduce Costs And Maintain Quality

Adhering to the principle of differentiation and cost control in product planning and design, we use a product case to illustrate, entering the era of intelligence and digitalization, the communication requirements for electric energy meters are getting higher and higher, and different communication methods are used in different installation environments In order to ensure the reliability of communication and control the cost of the project; the cost of all GPRS Power meter is relatively high, and the use of RS485 communication requires an additional concentrator for data collection; therefore, master-slave meters are planned, and the master meter can read slave meter data through RS485 and pass GPRS Far EasTone communicates with the platform, and the main meter is the electric meter and also has the function of a concentrator. The scheme design of such a master-slave meter is suitable for the selection of various application scenarios and reduces the cost of the project.

 

Prepaid master-slave meter functions:

1. Voltage: 220V

2. Current: 5(60)A

3. Accuracy class: class 1

4. Reference standards: IEC62052-11; IEC62053-21; IEC62055-41; GB/T 17215.321; GB/T 17215.301

5. Communication method: GPRS and RS485 communication for the main meter, and RS485 communication for the slave meter; it can realize remote data transmission and control management. The main meter can be connected to 32 sub-meters through RS485, and can also be used as a remote meter alone.

6. Load control function: Built-in high-quality magnetic latching relay, when the load power exceeds the set threshold, it will automatically cut off the power supply and send out an alarm message.

7. Prepaid function: when the balance is lower than 10kWh (this is a variable threshold), the electric energy meter will send out an alarm for insufficient balance; when the balance is 0, the power supply will be cut off automatically.

8. Emergency electricity function: If the energy meter is exhausted, you can temporarily borrow 10kWh of electricity by pressing the multi-function button, and this electricity will be automatically deducted when you recharge next time. If the power is exhausted again, it can only be used by recharging.
