When the meter is running, if there is
electronic energy meter an abnormal situation, the meter will alarm, and the LCD will display the corresponding error code or alarm prompt, and it will continue to light up.
Under normal circumstances, the alarm will prompt the following information:
1. Electricity owed
When the smart meter is in arrears, the alarm light is always on, and the user only needs to make up the arrears.
2. Low electricity bills
When the electricity bill is less than 50 or 20 (depending on the policy of the local utility company), the smart meter warning light will light up to remind us that the meter needs to be charged. As long as the electricity bill is charged, the warning light will go out.
The above is controllable by our users, but some warning lights are not controlled by us. For example, there is a problem with the electric meter itself, which we cannot solve by ourselves. Generally speaking, if we charge enough money in the card or client software and the alarm light is still on, then we may need the help of the utility company.
3. Fault alarm
When the clock battery runs out, you should call the utility company to replace it with a new battery in time. Under normal circumstances, battery problems will not affect the measurement, but the data fed back by the meter may cause confusion due to the wrong time.
In addition to battery problems, there are some problems that can cause meter alarms, such as voltage/current reverse sequence, voltage loss, phase loss, voltage/current imbalance, overload, overvoltage, reverse power, etc. These problems cannot be solved by our users, so we must call the utility company for repairs this time. Do not open the meter box without authorization, otherwise it may be regarded as stealing electricity.
4. Other lights on the meter
◆ The pulse lamp records the power consumption. The higher the power consumption, the faster the flashing frequency. 1200imp/kWh means that the pulse lamp flashes 1200 times as one kilowatt hour.
◆ When the driving light is on, it means that the home has a power outage and is in a power outage state. It may be that the electricity bill has been overdrawn and needs to be paid quickly. If there is still no electricity for a long time after paying the bill, you must contact the utility company immediately.
◆ Infrared light is a data collection interface for electricity consumption of public utility companies, and it does not light up at ordinary times. It will light up when it reacts to the collector.
