This year the IDIS Association has announced a merger with the DLMS Association to create a more competitive market and to offer market leaders the possibility to innovate by standardization.
With the help of the DNV-GL laboratory, IDIS laboratory and YTL Metering, YTL metering overcame the epidemic and has successfully obtained the IDIS certificates!
It is well known that the current IDIS certificate holders are international brands such as Iskraemeco, Itron, Landis gyr+, Honeywell, Sagemcom, etc., while few other manufacturers can make it. It is a wonderful thing for YTL metering to obtain the IDIS

What is an IDIS certificate?
Based on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62056 DLMS/COSEM , the IDIS companion specification defines precise usage and options to ensure 100% interoperable smart meter devices.
Why do YTL metering need this certificate?
- Reduce the time required to develop technical specificationsand facilitate the connection of YTL products with other suppliers’ systems
- Usethe professional knowledge of IDIS : experience-based learning to ensure the right approach
- Secure choice – IDIS offers an effectiveapproach and has been successfully deployed in large supplier
The IDIS standards solve the interconnection of information between overseas smart meter systems between different manufacturers and different systems.YTL Metering’s founder, Mr. Yao , often says within the company, “YTL Metering does not count the cost in innovation research and development, and does not count the cost in gaining certificates in order to actively create greater value for our customers “. And this acquisition of IDIS certification fully demonstrates the company’s R&D ability, further promotes YTL ‘s meters in overseas market development, and lays a solid foundation for the company to expand overseas markets.
