With the rapid economic development, the power grid must ensure the corresponding power supply and capacity reserve in order to meet the power demand of users. At different times, the demand for electric energy is different, and the production cost of electric energy commodities is also different. The use of electric energy for different periods of time will bear different electricity prices accordingly.
The implementation of peak-valley time-of-use electricity prices refers to changes in the load of the power grid.Divide 24 hours a day into peaks, flat sections, and troughs, and set different electricity prices for each period. In order to encourage electricity customers to rationally arrange electricity time, cut peaks and fill valleys, and improve the efficiency of power resource utilization.
Encourage residents to use the preferential conditions of low electricity prices to consume large amounts of low electricity, such as electric water heaters, air conditioners and other electrical equipment. At the same time, for the power sector, shifting peak power consumption to trough periods not only eases the peak power supply and demand gap, but also promotes the optimal allocation of power resources. It is a win-win strategy of “cutting peaks and filling valleys”.
Zhejiang Yongtailong Electronics Co., Ltd. has a variety of single-phase, three-phase multi-rate meters, which can accurately measure electrical parameters. The time period is set through RS485 communication, and the metering device measures the power of each time period.
