nterests drive the emergence of electricity tamper in endlessly!
In some developing countries in the world, due to the high price of electricity relative to the income of residents, some power users have adopted various methods of stealing electricity in order to obtain electricity for free and to pay less electricity bills. Driven by the interests, these users are willing to violate the relevant laws and illegally steal power resources, which has brought great economic losses to local power supply enterprises, seriously affected the development of the power industry, and brought serious hidden dangers to safe electricity use. Electricity tamper occurs frequently in Southeast Asia, India, Africa, South America and other regions. How to prevent the occurrence of electricity tamper has become a major problem for local governments and enterprises.
Type of anti-tamper function:
- DC magnetic field detection
Many electronic devices will be affected to varying degrees when they encounter strong magnetic fields; General electric meters will also be affected, which will result in inaccurate measurement and even crashes to achieve the purpose of stealing electricity. For this kind of electricity tamper, YTL can achieve normal measurement of 500mT meters (if the product is large enough, it can achieve a larger magnetic field); in addition, when the meter detects a strong magnetic field, it can automatically generate an alarm and form an event record.
- Open cover detection
The purpose of stealing electricity can also be achieved by changing the internal devices of the meter or changing the installation wiring; Preventing the opening of the meter cover and the terminal cover becomes particularly important. The meter cover detection and the end button cover detection are implemented by the travel switch. When the meter cover and the end button cover are opened, the meter can automatically generate an alarm and form an event record and disconnect the load relay, so that it could prevent tamper of electricity.
- Current imbalance
When short-circuit stealing occurs, the incoming and outgoing wires of the live wire of the energy meter are short-circuited, causing part of the current to be bypassed, making the current (phase current) of the live wire and the other wire in the energy meter unequal (that is, unbalanced) . In the design of the electric meter, both the live wire and the neutral wire are measured. When the zero wire current is greater than N% of the live wire current, the zero wire current is used for measurement; thus achieves the effect of preventing electricity tamper.
- Neutral line stealing detection
Any electronic equipment needs a power source to provide energy in order to work properly, as does an electric meter. Neutral wire stealing means that the meter loses its working voltage by disconnecting the neutral wire. The meter cannot work normally when there is no voltage, so as to achieve the purpose of stealing electricity. After disconnecting the input neutral line of the electricity meter, the current coil can still pass the current, and the voltage coil will lose the voltage. At this time, the electricity meter will not be measured by the electricity stolen household. For this kind of power stealing method, the working voltage can be supplied to the meter through the induced voltage of the voltage transformer by adding the voltage transformer, and the working voltage can be obtained when the current loop passes the current of 1A or more. So that the meter can measure normally.
YTL is an electronic energy meter manufacturer and system solution provider with more than 20 years of manufacturing experience, in response to the demand for anti-tamper electricity in the electricity meter market, combined with many years of experience in the manufacture of electricity meters, we have developed a seven-kind anti-tamper electricity meter to perfectly solve the problem of electricity tamper, reduce a lot of economic losses for power supply enterprises.
