The Difference Between a Tariff kWh Meter And a kWh Meter

Tariff kWh meter s and ordinary meters are both electric energy measuring devices, which are used for metering and billing of electricity consumption, and there are certain differences in extended functions.

Differences between tariff kWh meter s and kWh meters:

1. The tariff kWh meter has the function of segmented metering, which can set different electricity prices according to different time periods to achieve segmented billing, so that users can more clearly understand the electricity consumption costs in different time periods, so as to better plan their own electricity consumption behavior. 2. The tariff kWh meter has a clock function, and the clock error is required to be ±1S/day in the standard to ensure the accuracy of the period of electricity. In order to maintain the clock, the tariff kWh meter is equipped with a lithium battery to maintain the operation of the time. Ordinary energy meters do not have a clock function

3. In the function, there are load profile, event records, event alarms, remote communication, etc.
