When the meter is running, if there is an abnormal situation, the meter will alarm, and the LCD screen will display the corresponding error code or alarm prompt, which is always on.
Generally, the alarm will prompt the following information:
1. Electricity bill arrears
If the smart meter is in arrears, the alarm light will stay on, and the user only needs to make up the arrears.
2. Low electricity bills
When the electricity bill falls below 50 or 20 (depending on the policy of the local utility company), the smart meter warning light will come on to remind us that the meter needs to be charged. As long as there is an electricity bill, the warning light will come on.
The above is what our users can control, but some alarm lights are not controlled by us. For example, if there is a problem with the meter itself, we cannot fix it on our own. Generally speaking, if we charge enough money in the card or client software and the alarm light is still on, then we may need help from the utility company.
3. Fault alarm
When the clock battery is depleted, you should promptly call the utility company to replace it with a new battery. General battery problems do not affect metering, but the data fed back by the meter may be confused because of the wrong time.
In addition to battery problems, there are some problems that can cause the meter to alarm, such as voltage/current reverse phase sequence, voltage phase loss, phase loss, voltage/current imbalance, overload, overvoltage, reverse power, etc. None of these problems can be solved by our users, so be sure to call the utility company for repairs at this time. Do not open the meter box without authorization, otherwise it may be regarded as stealing electricity.
4. Other lights on the meter
Electricity consumption for pulsed light recording. The higher the power consumption, the faster the blinking frequency. 1200imp/kWh means that the pulse light flashes 1200 times as one kWh.
The trip light is on, indicating that the home's electricity has been cut off and is in a power outage state. It may be that the electricity bill has been overdrawn and needs to be paid quickly. If there is no electricity for a long time after paying the bill, you must contact the utility company immediately.
The infrared
single phase din rail meter light is the interface used by the power company to collect data on electricity consumption, and generally does not light up. It lights up when it reacts to the collector.
