1. Complexity and technical challenges of industrial and commercial scenarios
The complexity of industrial and commercial electricity scenarios far exceeds that of civilian fields, for example:
High energy consumption scenarios (steel mills, data centers): need to withstand instantaneous large current shocks (such as arc furnace starting current exceeding 2000A), and extremely high measurement accuracy requirements (within ±0.5%);
Harsh environmental scenarios (chemical plants, ports): electricity meters need to operate stably under extreme conditions such as high temperature (-40℃~85℃), high humidity, and salt spray corrosion;
Multi-subject billing scenarios (commercial complexes, industrial parks): need to support household metering, time-of-use electricity prices, power factor rewards and penalties and other mixed billing rules.
Technical difficulties focus on: hardware weather resistance, software flexibility, communication compatibility, and data security.
2. Core technical architecture of full-scenario adaptation solution
To meet the above challenges, we build full-scenario adaptation capability of prepaid electricity meters through "hardware modular design + software configurable platform + multi-protocol communication compatibility":
1. Hardware layer: modular design to cope with extreme environments
Wide range metering module: supports 0.5A~2000A current range, and avoids overload of metering chip caused by large current by dynamically switching CT range (such as using magnetic saturation suppression technology);
Industrial grade protection design: The shell adopts IP68 protection grade + 316L stainless steel material, and the internal PCB board is sprayed with three-proof paint, which passes the salt spray test (1000 hours without corrosion);
Dual-core redundant architecture: The metering chip and the communication chip operate independently to ensure that data is not lost in extreme environments (such as chemical plant explosion impact).
2. Software layer: configurable rule engine
Rate template library: built-in 50+ billing templates (such as time-of-use electricity price, demand electricity price, tiered electricity price), users can drag and drop to generate customized solutions through the host computer software;
Load warning system: real-time monitoring of harmonic content and three-phase imbalance, automatic triggering of overload protection (such as harmonic suppression of UPS power supply in data center);
API open platform: seamless connection with users' existing ERP and BMS systems, supporting data transparent transmission and strategy linkage (such as power optimization of shopping mall air conditioning system).
3. Communication layer: full protocol compatibility and security encryption
Multi-mode communication module: supports multiple communication methods such as RS-485, LoRa, NB-IoT, 4G, etc., to adapt to wiring conditions in different scenarios (such as Mesh networking in areas with insufficient wireless coverage in ports);
National security encryption: using SM4 encryption algorithm + dynamic key update to prevent data tampering and malicious overdraft (such as preventing tenants in industrial parks from stealing electricity).
As an electric meter manufacturer, we help industrial and commercial users achieve closed-loop management of "accurate metering - cost optimization - risk control" in complex electricity usage scenarios through modular design and flexible software architecture.
